Region of Nitra
The Nitra region spreads in the southern part of Slovakia and encompasses the districts of Nitra and Zlaté Moravce, the northern part of the Nové Zámky district and the western part of the Levice district. The focal point of cultural, industrial, touristic and administrative activities is the city of Nitra. It is one of the most visited tourist regions in Slovakia. In addition to beautiful natural treasures, this region has several historical sites (Drážďovce church, manor houses in Beladice, Topoľčianky, Oponice and Mojmírovce, Gýmeš Castle), thermal parks (Podhájska) and other interesting sites.

Castle Topoľčianky
The village of Topoľčianky lies in the valley of the Žitava River, surrounded by the Tríbeč Mountain Range in the northwest and the Pohronský Inovec in the east, 36 km from Nitra. A monumental Classicistic chateau scenically fits into a large English park situated at the northern end of the village.
