Region of Turiec

Turčiansky tourism region includes the districts Martin (Lower Turiec) and Turčianske Teplice (Upper Turiec). In the early 20th century, the cultural center of the region of Slovakia with an important role of Turčiansky Saint Martin.

  • SNOWLAND – Valcianska valley

    Sport and recreation centre with stylish mountain architecture is located in the Lesser Fatra Mountains, just 12 km from the town of Martin.Favourably located hillside creates good conditions for skiing and snowboarding from December until March.

  • Jasenská Valley

    JASENSKÁ DOLINA is one of the best known valleys in the Veľká Fatra Mountain range. It lies 12 km to the south-east of Martin, next to the village Belá-Dulice. It is well-known and popular with tourists all the year round.
