Spa Lucky
Lúčky is located 14 km from Ružomberok, on the boundary of the regions Orava and Liptov, in the beautiful scenery of the Choč Mountains, 621 meters above the sea level. Known since 1761, the spa town of Lúčky with its three thermal pools is one of the oldest spas in Slovakia.
Natural sulphate – bicarbonate, magnesium – calcium carbonate water, with a temperature of 32°C contributes to the healing process of gynecological illnesses, problems of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Spa guests can also enjoy the Aqua-Vital Lúčky Aqua park with its many fun features, opened in 2008. Three swimming pools along with an outdoor recreational pool with a temperature ranging from 28°C to 33°C are ideal for family fun and relaxation. The village is naturally divided into two parts – the spa and the village center. Lúčanský waterfall, a 12 meter high cascade that falls off the edge of a travertine terrace into a small lake, can be found in the middle of the village. Lúčanský waterfall has been a national natural monument since 1974.
